How a game gets onto this site, and what we need from you for the listing to be any good.

How the catalog is filled

PlayyZone imports from games distributors rather than accepting uploads. Today that means GameMonetize: we read their public catalog, keep it in sync, and every game keeps running from the publisher own servers. Nothing is re-hosted here.

The practical consequence for a developer is short: if your game is already distributed through a network we import, it can appear here without you doing anything. If it is not, write to us — adding a distributor is a small, well-bounded piece of work on our side, and we would rather do it than build an upload form nobody moderates.

What a listing needs

  • An HTML5 build that runs in a frame over HTTPS, with no plugin and no installer.
  • A thumbnail. Any aspect ratio works — cards crop to fit — but a legible one at 300 pixels wide is what sells the click.
  • A title, a short description, and the controls written out. Both of the last two are shown on the game page.
  • A category. We adopt the distributor taxonomy as it is, so nothing is dropped for want of a mapping.
  • Tags, if you have them. They become browsable pages once enough games share one.

What we do with what you send

A game is matched on the pair of distributor and game id, so a re-import updates it rather than duplicating it. A game the distributor stops listing is deactivated here, never deleted — visitors may have saved it, and a favorite that vanishes is a bug from their side of the screen.

We do not rate, rank by opinion, or editorialise. Ordering is by how new a game is and how often it is played, and both are facts.

Removals

If you want your game taken down, tell us at the address published on our contact page and we will deactivate it. A formal copyright complaint about someone else work belongs on the DMCA page.
